In the context of the real estate industry, the tasks I undertake include: securing new, additional, or replacement capital; implementing exit or growth strategies; driving strategic changes; consolidating and restructuring business activities; and resolving special situations for which there is no textbook solution.

Exceeding expectations is what drives me. This is built 30+ years in the real estate industry: holding global responsibilities in leadership positions at banks and real estate companies, in corporate finance advisory, and in financial technology. In this context, I have acquired broad expertise: in asset and investment management, restructuring, corporate finance, and corporate governance.

This expertise has proven valuable in crises: in managing special situations to rescue real estate companies; in restructuring and exiting problematic real estate financings; and in workouts of real estate assets across all major property types.

This is reflected in a track record of real estate and financial transactions with a combined volume of €5+ billion in both national and international markets.

I see my role and function as a temporary extension of an organization.

My actions are independent. I am free from conflicts of interest. My perspective is unbiased, characterized by a deep understanding of the diverse real estate industry.

I create value through a wide range of strategic actions, backed by an extensive network of personal contacts within the real estate industry and the private capital markets. This enables a competitive and systematic approach that ultimately leads to greater security in execution and saves time where it is needed.

I operate with the highest level of confidentiality. I proceed in a clear and thoughtful manner. I deliver reliable and results-driven outcomes. I am confident in dealing with supervisory and decision-making bodies. I address issues openly and do not cling to beliefs that have proven to be outdated.

I assume temporarily  a leadership role as an extension of an organization. I manage projects and sub-projects with extensive practical experience, including in corporate management. I share the knowledge I have gained.

I work with real estate companies, as well as small and medium-sized project development and asset management companies, on both consolidation and growth scenarios, as well as in capital raising and restructurings.

I also collaborate with banks and alternative capital providers in the restructuring and risk management of commercial real estate financing. In special situations, including cross-border cases, with medium to large Exposure at Default (EaD), at both the corporate and project levels.

I cooperate with other consultants, especially in: complex situations, during restructurings, and in cases aimed at avoiding insolvency, as well as where insolvency has already occurred. This includes operational workouts, the creation of new structures, and the development and implementation of exit strategies.

Generally, I also work with investors and investment managers with an opportunistic profile.

I work internationally, and due to my experience and expertise, generally on a global scale. However, my focus is on Germany, as well as key markets in Continental Europe and the UK.

The remuneration is based on the expected effort and scope of the work. It is generally performance-based, but with a fixed fee component (retainer). This structure helps avoid conflicts of interest and creates incentives for mutual commitment to performance.
